Dr. Ashley Dunn,

Dr. Ashley Dunn was raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She obtained a bachelor's degree in biology from St. Mary's College of Maryland and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech. She joined the Animal Care Clinic in 2011 and is excited about living and working in Lexington.

Before obtaining her veterinary degree Dr. Dunn worked as a kennel technician, veterinary assistant and emergency technician. She performed these duties in both private practice and animal shelters from 2002 to 2009. In 2003 she assisted her local Humane Society with the rescue of over 300 cats and dogs, which at the time was the largest hoarding rescue in U.S. history.

Dr. Dunn is a member of the Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Her interests include canine and feline reproduction, and pocket pets. Dr. Dunn and her husband look forward to raising their son in Lexington. Her husband's family is from Lexington and over a dozen members of their immediate family live in the area.
