There are many benefits to neutering your pet. Neutering (or castration) can eliminate testicular cancer risk,  male drive that causes roaming, also decreases marking of territory and exhibitions of dominance behavior.

All neutering procedures at Animal Care Clinic are done with IV fluids and strict patient monitoring.

This is the pre-surgical shave and preparation

Next, the patient is draped, and a pre-scrotal incision is made to expose the testicles for removal.

In this picture, the testicular artery, vein and nerves are ligated (tied off) and the testicle are amputated.

Now, the second testicle is exteriorized, ligated and removed.

Next, the incision is sutured with an intradermal closure.
